How come we never get albums headlined by orchestras performing with rock and roll bands? This concept of it is so silly and is so overdone by this point.

The Rock band meets orchestra thing is so underwhelming and played out.
IMO, the only time it works well is when the said band actually had orchestration on their album(s) like The Moody Blues. Otherwise, yeah.....
KISS did it on Kiss Symphony: Alive IV back when Pete was still with them (along with Thayer) and it was dismal. The first 6 songs were without the orchestra and was the best part of the show.

I'm waiting for "The Symphonic Stylings of Spinal Tap with The New York Philharmonic, The Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin, The New Leviathan Oriental Foxtrot Orchestra, The Mos Eisley Cantina Experience, and Sting" to be the final word on this genre!

I'm all in for Slayer doing Seasons In The Abyss with the L.A. Philharmonic Orchestra.

Definitely better than initial expectations. Especially impressed with Say You Will, When It Comes To Love and That Was Yesterday. This arrangement of That Was Yesterday sounds like a lost James Bond theme; I absolutely love that track.
