Another major package tour will be hitting the road this summer. Jeff Beck and Paul Rodgers will embark on a co-headlining Stars Align tour, with Ann Wilson of Heart serving as the opening act.

In a press release announcing the shows, all three artists shared their mutual love for one another, with Beck stating, “I always enjoy touring the U.S. in the summer, and joining with Paul, and Ann Wilson, should make for quite an exciting night,”

“This is going to be a knockout combination of music and musicians,” added Rodgers. “I’ve always been a Jeff Beck fan. Who isn’t? He is in a league of his own. Ann Wilson has an amazing voice and is a brilliant songwriter. 2018 marks the 50th anniversary of Free, and I hope we can touch your spirit with the ‘Spirit of Free.’”

“I am thrilled to added been asked to perform on the Stars Align Tour with Jeff Beck and Paul Rodgers,” Wilson, who's currently on a break from Heart, said. “They are both long time favorites of mine! They are masters at their craft and it is an honor to share the stage this summer.”

The tour will begin July 18 at the Usana Amphitheatre in West Valley City, Utah, on July 18 and conclude at the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre in Tampa on Aug. 26. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Feb. 2)= at 10AM local time with a pre-sale for Citi cardholders starting tomorrow at noon local time.

Beck and Rodgers have collaborated in the past. Rodgers' 1993 star-studded tribute to Muddy Waters, Muddy Water Blues, featured Beck's guitar on a cover of "I Just Want to Make Love to You."

One of the thrills of my life was seeing Jeff Beck up real close (just a few feet) at LIs The Paramount a few years ago. Now I'll never get that close at Jones Beach but still, its always a thrill to see Jeff Beck.

I thought Paul Rogers and Ace Frehley were going to form a new version of KISS with a holographic Eric Carr?

The Eric Carr hologram got a better offer and is joining the Dio hologram tour instead.

If they can get James Brown to join them, there's no telling what bold new musical direction they might head off in.
