Usually, the COA, or Contract Obligation Album is a cobbled together mess of solo tracks, unfinished ideas, half-hearted songs and occasionally a few gems.

Rarely are these albums actually any good as the artists does not have their heart in it, but the fanbase always finds some interest.

Feel free to post what are legitimate COAs, where you know the only reason the album existed, is because the artists owed the label one more album.

And of course, make as many comments as you wish!

Oh yeah.

I believe this was just a comp though?

Every Geffen album was almost like saying to David Geffen, "Well, you fucking signed me asshole..."

It was Aerosmith's final album for Geffen and while it was a big commercial hit, it's one of their lesser albums. About half a good album by my reckoning.

1. Eat The Rich
2. Get A Grip
3. Living On The Edge
4. Can't Stop Messin' (b-side, on foreign versions of the album)
5. Cryin'
6. Amazing

Yep, not even Jimmy Page could get Peter Grant to get him out of doing this. But as a Zep fan, I was glad to have another album at the time it came out.

Outtakes cobbled together by Decca in 1975. Still, I'm a fan. At least half the songs are grade A, if you ask me.
