What are your plans for the day? What will be on the menu?

I'll be with my family. I don't eat turkey so I'm not sure what will be on my menu. I hope that everyone here has a really great and fun with family and/or friends.

Well, I think both of our daughters will be working their social media jobs so we will probably head down to their workplace and have dinner at a restaurant there on their break.

Next Monday we will make a "home" Thanksgiving.

Oh, and I'm stealing that Beatles pic for Facebook.

No family & I can't medically eat Turkey so I'll do my best to ignore it.

This will be a special Thanksgiving together for my girlfriend and her children.

We've both been through tragedy and had known each other for years (and always liked each other but did nothing since we were both married at the time, as well as the fact that neither of us knew or said a word) and now here we are together, and perfectly matched and happy.

We've been together almost 1 year at this point and it doesn't seem like it.

The kids love me and I love them (and taught the daughter previously at school) and then just 3 days later I am moving in (and moving is a hideous experience as everybody knows!)

So, this will be great (my crappy health aside) and we will watch A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving tomorrow and keep moving boxes around and then gobble up food with my family on Turkey Day.

Yay for us!

A very traditional Thanksgiving for me as we are hosting the NJ side of the family here and my side will be at my sister's house a few miles away.
But I will dine with my side on Sunday up in CT with my other sister (and celebrate my Dad's 90th birthday!)

I love Thanksgiving, really the only day a year we eat an oven fresh turkey and all that wonderful stuffing with gravy.

Add football and its truly my favorite holiday. No gift pressures, its not religious, its all about family and giving thanks for everything we have, just a feel good day.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone here! I flew west to spend the holiday week with my little sister, who lives outside of San Francisco and who'll be celebrating a big something-0 (rhymes with "thrifty") birthday the day after. We've picked up a pre-prepared turkey breast and thighs with pre-prepared dressing from Costco, so we'll just pop that into the oven. My sister is a great cook and likes to make a bunch of different new sides each year, so there'll be lots to eat, even though it'll be just the two of us while the rest of our family is down in southern California. I'll fly back to MA on Friday afternoon.

Start off the morning flipping between the parade and Laurel & Hardy's March of the Wooden Soldiers on NYC station WPIX (a local tradition). Going out to dinner this year. Home for football--the dismal Giants vs. the Redskins are the night game.

btw in the NYC area, the only place to hear Alice's Restaurant will probably be WFUV at Noon.

WFUV 90.7 FM (Bronx, NY ): The epic will air at noon on Thanksgiving Day and will be surrounded by broadcasts of recordings of a variety of live concerts throughout the day.

And don't forget WPIX's usual Honeymooners Fest starting right after the March Of The Wooden Soldiers.

For the first time in my life we will be having turkey sous vide, which for good (or even bad) should prove interesting. The cooking has been great all week!

Up in far Northern California on the Klamath River with a group of good friends, and hope to screen Purple Rain tomorrow night on the house media system.

Fifteen people at our house. And it's my bride's birthday. So happy she loves to cook, even on her birthday. Personally, I'm just thankful the next inauguration day is only 1,154 days off.
