Description
Fleetwood Mac’s campaign to reissue its classic albums continues with Fleetwood Mac: Deluxe Edition. The collection includes newly remastered audio, rare and unreleased studio and live recordings, and more. The music will be available in several formats:

Remastered (CD): Original album with newly remastered sound.

Expanded (2CD): The original album with newly remastered sound expanded with rare and unreleased studio and live recordings.

Deluxe (3CD/DVD/LP): The original album with newly remastered audio on CD and 180-gram vinyl; rare and unreleased studio and live recordings; plus a DVD with 5.1 Surround Sound and high-resolution 24/96 Stereo Audio mixes of the original album and four single mixes, packaged in a 12 x 12 embossed sleeve with rare and unseen photos along with in-depth liner notes written by David Wild featuring new interviews with all the band members. Exclusive to the deluxe edition is a third disc filled with unreleased live recordings highlighted by stellar performances of “Landslide,” “Oh Well,” “Station Man,” “World Turning,” among others.

Both the deluxe and expanded editions feature single mixes for “Over My Head,” “Rhiannon,” “Say You Love Me.” Also included is a second disc with an alternate version of the complete album comprised of unreleased outtakes for each album track, plus several unreleased live performances from 1976.

And it looks like we'll finally get those live tracks from this first Lindsey / Stevie Mac tour, where they performed Welch and Green era cuts with their own special Lindsey / Stevie harmonies. Very delish if I do say so myself...

5.1 mix on DVD with unreleased tracks. I'm in.

Another one where I really just want cd #2 or the dvd. Judging from all the other FM DE's; the96/24 likely will sound much worse than the 2013 hi-res download.

Judging from the other Fleetwood Mac Deluxe Editions, the 5.1 mix will likely be magnificent and revelatory, unearthing things that have been buried in the mix until now. I am really happy with the surround discs of the previous Mac boxes.

I'll go for the 2 CD set. I don't need a live album in another big box unless I can purchase it separately from iTunes. And I've got only two speakers and don't need a 5.1 mix.

I sure do wish that they do something like this with the period between Peter Green and Bukingham/Nicks.

The current exchange rate is $1.31966 to £1, which brings this box to $52.34 including shipping.

Versus $99.98 from Amazon US. Totally crazy...

Isn't it? The U.S. price will drop over time but at least we locked in a real good price.

Check the link, it's already at #7 in Amazon UK's sales chart more than two months before its release. There's a lot of love for this album.

After thinking all these years that this album is almost as good as Rumours, I finally realized a while back that I probably like it even better. Not that my opinion matters to anyone else, but it's just a great album. Looking forward to this.

Why the heck can't they do a CD/DVD package and just leave out the damn LP (and the 12" box it comes in).

Personally, I could do without the 5.1 Surround Mix

Sad that I can't have the live album due to it only being in this useless big box that I would stare at and play once.

Fleetwood Mac Live has been done for years so I assume that would be next, if ever.

My guess is Behind The Mask, Time (ugh), The Dance and Say You Will never get the treatment.

I want to see the Bob Welch era re-mastered. A Special Edition of 'Bare Trees' would be most welcomed!

All have been done as official hi-res downloads. They're not bad sounding; though not nearly as good as the 2013-14 B/N period downloads.

Try as you will but I will never ever pay $25.00 for a non-physical product. God Bless you my friend but all the power to you.

All of the Welch era albums should be given the deluxe box treatment.
