Description
1981 was a watershed year for Santana. With the release of their multi-format hit album Zebop!, Carlos Santana & The Santana Band catapulted onto the top ten, the first time in several years, & truly changed the course of their musical history for the next several decades. Thanks in part to the Russ Ballard (Argent) penned smash hit single Winning, the band not only maintained their solid following, but also brought in a whole new fan base. This 30th Anniversary Ed. comes with wonderful new remastering from the original Columbia tapes, original LP artwork all housed in a beautiful digi-pak.

Winning has to be one of the most unusual hit songs by a major artist (known for his guitar playing) that generally doesn't have pop hits.

I love this era of Santana but they had a boatload of Pop/Rock hits at this time from 1977-82, many of which went Top 20 to Top 40 like "Winning", "She's Not There", 'You Know That I Love You", "Stormy" and "Hold On" among others.

I have this remaster but whether it really was remastered, I have no idea because Friday are a weird label.

Not sure how they even exist.
