Looks like an interesting book on the friends, classmates, neighbors, fellow musicians, fellow band members, yada yada, of The Beatles during their early evolution. David Bedford interviews a boatload of different peeps from Liverpool. This came out 2.7 months after Mark Lewisohn's epic "Tune In", don't know how much they overlap. Haven't found any reviews that compare the two books directly, though reviewer Kit O'Toole from "Something Else Reviews" states:
Quote:
Largely avoiding the often-told stories in other Beatles books, David Bedford allows readers a glimpse into a less documented part of the group’s history.
