what is the difference between a repress and a remaster and a reissue....curious, never really heard the term 'repress' used before.

A repress is an exact copy of the previous edition, down to the date on the cover. They're just manufacturing another batch of an out-of-print title.

Friday Music (USA) and the Cherry Red family of labels (UK) still do this with some frequency, but represses have fallen out of favour with most labels. Too bad, it's better than just letting everything go out of print after one or two manufacturing runs.

Bump: Along The Red Ledge is still on track for this Friday, but Beauty On A Back Street has been pushed back to December 1st, and Livetime has been rescheduled for January 5th.
