Description
2016 album from Chrissie Hynde & co, produced by Dan Auerbach (Black Keys) featuring a cameo from guitar legend Duane Eddy. Reissued as a special edition with a bonus 15-track live CD featuring 'Message Of Love', 'Don't Get Me Wrong', 'Middle Of The Road' & more.

If you're not interested in the bonus disc of live recordings which comes with the new Special Edition of Alone above, the standard 1CD edition of the album from last year is still available:

i thought that the practice of re-releasing a basically new album again with additional tracks had stopped?

The Austin City Limits tracks which appear on CD2 of the Alone Special Edition are from the show which is airing on PBS tomorrow. Here's an interview clip in which Chrissie Hynde talks about the album:

BMG has belatedly decided to release the 2CD Special Edition domestically. It's coming out this Friday, December 1st:

This appears to be the new trend- release a special edition a few month after the original release with a live album. Why not just release a live album? I'd be thrilled with these things if the 2nd disc contained recordings that were actually a part of the original album, outtakes, alternate takes, alternate mixes etc.
