For what it's worth, I pulled this of the Hoffman board:
Quote:
This album features a Deluxe Boxset 5-CD and a Deluxe 4-LP set consisting of the original album with 15 previously released demos, recordings and Never heard songs, Live At The Troubadour '96 + Live a KCRW '96. In addition, the deluxe editions contain liners from music critic Steve Hyden and the original single Outta site (Outta Mind).

Although I wasn't at the Troubadour, the radio broadcast of this show is what turned me on to the band in the first place. A buddy went to that show, and I sat home and lamented the horrible mistake I made by not attending. I have since made up for that, seeing Wilco, Jeff Tweedy, or Tweedy 42 times

I haven't seen Tweedy solo yet, but I have a ton of the downloads he's sold of solo shows. He is terrific on his own.

He is one of my favorite artists to see solo. I loved watching him grow in his comfort zone on stage, and really saw this happen during his solo shows. Hope you get a chance to attend some day.

If you're not nice
December 1st just got even better for Wilco collectors -- see the first post for details of a Deluxe Edition of A.M. which will be coming out the same day as the Being There box.

Very cool! I've had that Troubadour show for years and years-- it's a perfect example of the early band. I had the cassette that they sent to radio stations; it'll be nice to have it on CD. You can get both CDs bundled for $50 from the band's web store.
