Tough decision to make on this one. If you order directly from the band website, it'll cost you $6 or $7 more but you get priority access for tickets for upcoming shows. At this point, no clue whether Lynne plans to tour in the U.S. next year but if so...

While the band sounds magnificent, the "Telephone Line" clip has a variety of sickening clips of the 50 and over crowd dancing, hugging, crying and singing that made me cringe in ways I cannot describe.
Might just get the CD which I will play once or twice and file away like all other live albums!

God, I hate Ticketmaster. I had access to a fan code for the upcoming shows by virtue of being on the ELO listserve for several years. Every time I try to buy a set of tix, I get the "we could not process your request" error message." They succcckkk.

I'll be the first one to admit...ELO is one of my favorite bands, but live is not one of their strong suits. The music and the lights are incredible but Jeff Lynne is not a great front man and says very little during the show. That being said, I'm going try and get tickets for the MSG show so my son can see them. He's got a great band behind him these days. I saw them at Radio City in 2016 and the show was short compared to what their musical catalog is like. They were on stage for just under 90 minutes. The show at Wembley was much longer and visually stunning. Radio City was visually stunning but just short on the set list.

Just stumbled out of bed not realizing ELO tickets went on sale but I am also in for the Garden date. Weird I never received any advanced notice from Citibank or Chase or AMEX or even Garden events.
