Description
The Turtles are an American rock band who between 1965-1970 released 18 US Hit Singles, with their cover of Bob Dylan's "It Ain't Me Babe" being the first. They are most remembered however for their chart topping single "Happy Together". After only a short period the band split, with 2 of the members forming the group Flo & Eddie. A version of The Turtles reformed in the late 80s and continue to tour to this day. This 2CD best of contains all the US singles in both Mono and Stereo as well as a handful of unissued singles. Also includes sleeve notes by Alan Robinson.

Nope, most people are going the vinyl route according to the selection at my local music store.

from what i understand "new" vinyl does not sell very well at all.

overkill, to say the least.

but it seems that almost all the 60's bands are "over" comped anymore doesn't it?

and then there are those that still haven't even had a single comp.

I never asked how much they sell but the CD section has shrunk and the vinyl has increased by at least 10 X. This is a new store that took over the HMV locations in Canada and all of them have larger expensive vinyl sections.

I remember when even our Bestbuy's had a vinyl section when they first made a comeback. Haven't seen vinyl in one for quite awhile now.
Our B&N also had a small vinyl section but I haven't been in there for a long time and I'm not sure if they continued.

the whole "vinyl revival" thing is just weird, just weird.

FYE sells $29 turntables, i sure don;t get it. if they are buying vinyl the 'sound" they certainly are not getting that 'sound" from a $29 turntable.
