Nice harmonies on that track, I still miss the Olson Louris combination. The Jayhawks have not been the same IMO since he left.

The harmonies do sound good. But while I agree the first 2-3 Jayhawks albums are great, I actually think their current lineup is their best. I liked their most recent album FAR MORE than the last one they did with Olson, and their tour supporting it was the best I have seen from them.

Did you check the waveforms of the last one? It is COMPRESSED.

It all comes down to personal taste obviously, I own everything they have put out and enjoy them a lot but my favourites remain Hollywood Town Hall and Blue Earth. I am jealous that you saw them recently, normally we only get the ready for casino tours here.
