Description
Released in May 1973, "Sefronia" was Tim Buckley's eighth album, his first on manager Herb Cohen's DiscReet label, and followed the critically successful "Greetings From LA". It features his studio version of Fred Neil's 'Dolphins', a song he had originally performed in London in 1968, captured on the "Dream Letter" live album. Also featured are three co-writes with his original collaborator Larry Beckett, and a cover of Tom Waits' 'Martha'. The album has been re-mastered from the original tapes by Dave Schultz in 2017, and the booklet features the lyrics and new annotation.

"Look At The Fool", the ninth and final studio album to be released by Tim Buckley in his lifetime (the album was released in November 1974, and Buckley was to die from a drug overdose on 29th June 1975, aged only 28), is seen by some as the last in a trio of 'sex-funk' releases. He'd begun this trilogy with "Greetings From LA" in 1972. He followed "Greetings" with "Sefronia", and the last album in his deal with DiscReet, the label owned by his manager, Herb Cohen, was this - "Look At The Fool". The album has been re-mastered from the original tapes by Dave Schultz in 2017, and the booklet features the lyrics and new annotation.

"The Dream Belongs To Me" features some of Tim Buckley's most cherished songs ("Song To The Siren", "Buzzin' Fly"), some of his most unappreciated ("Sefronia", "Honey Man"), and two songs that were never otherwise recorded ("The Dream Belongs To Me", "Falling Timber"). Originally issued in 2001, this fully-annotated collection offers incredible insight into two distinctly different phases of Tim Buckley: the first six tracks were recorded in New York and Hollywood in March and June of 1968, between the releases of "Goodbye And Hello" and "Happy Sad", while the remaining eight tracks are from a "Sefronia" demo session recorded on 12th February 1973. Both sessions capture Buckley at difficult creative junctures, finding him struggling with commercial acceptance, label pressure, and high expectations.
