What an amazing comp with loads of rarities.

This may be getting a US date, but we will see.

I wish the version of "Small World" was the promo version that combined Part 1 and Part 2 together seamlessly into one track. I don't think that's the single version that they're mentioning here. Overall though, it's very interesting.

Having very little of The News in my collection this will be most welcomed.

I think there's a big hit missing. I don't see "It's Alright" listed. That's the Curtis Mayfield cover that got a lot of airplay in the early 90's. That's not the same song as "But It's Alright", which is included. Otherwise, it looks like a very comprehensive box set.

That was on a different label no longer in business which explains the absence.

I believe that was from a Curtis Mayfield tribute album.

Otherwise, this is very, very comprehensive and it even has the American Express songs, some Clover and collaborations.

It's also got the Phil Lynott cover of "Tattoo."

I wish they'd somehow gotten the Phil Lynott/Huey &The News recordings from 1985 which were really good, but I assume those will never see the light of day.

My favorite song is "It Hit Me Like A Hammer" and I hope that mix isn't too far away from the original recording.

Anyone know what that one is like?

Too bad it's missing his cover of Smokey Robinson's "Cruisin," his unlikely duet with Gwyneth Paltrow. It was #1 on the AC chart for months back in 2000.

But this is on my shopping list.

Overall, a lot of good stuff here and I will get it for some odds and ends and additionally, the last greatest hits comp, while it had a good track list (for a single disc set), it was loud.

This will be the next release in Universal Netherlands' Collected series.

"But It's Alright" should be the JJ Jackson cover.

"It's Alright" should be the acapella version of the Mayfield they had a minor hit with (at least it was all over WPLJ in NYC at the time).

I'm in for the set, definitely! Between Disc 3 and the old Japan "Super Selection" CD, I can't think of many other rarities I'd want.
