I am embarrassed to say I do not have anything in my collection on these guys. Where would I best be to start?
And RackelNut, be nice per my ignorance.

Rick... i think the best place to start is with "Working With Fire And Steel" or "Flaunt The Imperfection" (i REALLY like their last 2 albums as well... the one from last year is quite lovely, albeit it out-of-print... send me a PM and we'll talk about how you can get one.)

hopefully i'm wrong, but the Extended Version of "King In A Catholic Style (Wake Up)" from the UK 12" appears to be missing.

And with shipping it's still under $50 for all 3. That's a good deal.

And RackelNut, be nice per my ignorance. Rick, the suggestions by RackleNut of the "Working With Fire And Steel" and "Flaunt The Imperfection" albums are a great starting point. My first awareness of China Crisis was hearing the "Fire and Steel" single when it was first released, both on local college radio station and at "New Wave Night" on Wednesdays at the Marriott bar near campus. The song has a catchy bass line and was fun to dance to, and led me to purchase the album. I quickly found out that the song was kind of an outlier, because nothing else on the record quite sounds like it, but subsequent listens led me to really enjoy the whole album. Great variety with a memorable hook in every tune, from the OMD-like single "Wishful Thinking", to the hauntingly beautiful "Here Come A Raincloud". I dubbed the album onto cassette tape, and listened to it often on the long road trips for school breaks. Highly recommended. However, if you think you might want to purchase these deluxe editions and not duplicate an album, I would recommend the compilation "Collection: The Very Best Of China Crisis". It's a good overview of the band's 80's-90's period that sounds fine, and used copies can be found relatively cheap. Here is one of the listings for it on AmazWAN: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0017R13SS/?tag=imwan-20

On my street recently it means that I will often get a neighbor's mail (despite putting a HUGE sign with my last name and address conspicuously visible inside my mailbox) and even getting a package clearly labelled "Do not bend" and had thick cardboard inside bent in half (despite having an oversize--as in can hold several magazine-size plus packages--mailbox). Oh, yes, complaints have been made and documented.
