I may have interest in V1 if there's rarities or a hi-res version. I really only like the first few albums.

Here's hoping for a track list soon! Wonder if their weill be a hi-res edition? I'd find the early albums much more interesting than the 2 af's (Closer To Home is out in hi res, but of the first few, that's all).

"Good Singin'" was on MCA, the other two on Warner and affiliated labels. The last two were released on CD for a brief time by Wounded Bird.

True, that would be nice, having everything in a neat package.

True, that would be nice, having everything in a neat package. it doesn't make much sense at all. put together an all-encompassing package, upgrade the sound, throw on a couple bonus tracks, or a whole bonus disc (there are some out there) charge accordingly (make it affordable and you will sell a ton) and be done with it

I HATE it when cd is said to be "24 bit remastered". That is physically imposable. It obviously means they archived the master at 24 bit & down sampled. If anything that sounds worse than a 16 bit encode....

These look like the last batch of the first 6 expanded GF albums from last decade.

They are. All boxed up into two volumes, very nicely priced.

I have the original big box Trunk of Funk that includes all 12 of these albums, bonus tracks, replica ticket, 3D glasses, and guitar pick.
I wonder if these will actually sound any better?
