To any fan of 80s Pop, HOWARD JONES needs no introduction. From his breakthrough in 1983 with ‘New Song’, Howard was rarely out of the charts for the ensuing decade. After leaving Warner Brothers in the early 90s, he set up his own label, DTox, and has continued to wow audiences the world over, ever since.

Compiled and annotated by the artist, BEST (1983-2017) is the first retrospective to properly span Howard Jones’ entire recording career, with all his major hits and key tracks across the decades. Housed in a deluxe Digipak, the package also boasts an exclusive bonus disc, which was only previously available as a DVD with the interactive book edition of Engage and now adds an exclusive remix!

Howard continues to enjoy a high profile 2017, with UK dates (including the Let’s Rock tour) followed in mid-July by the lengthy Retro Futura US tour, which kicks off at LA’s famous Greek Theatre and continues for a full month, culminating 19th August. Howard is then back out on the road in the UK for a string of winter dates at the end of November/early December.

If anybody is looking to preorder this, be aware that the US price ($16.99) is currently better than the UK price (£17.83). That's before VAT is accounted for, but still a good price for a 3-CD import.

the omission of the Donald Fagen cover "IGY (What A Beautiful World)" is a bit puzzling and frustrating.
