There's this from Musictap:
Black Moon will offer four bonus tracks that will include radio edits of “Black Moon”, “Affairs Of The Heart”, “Paper Blood”, and the cover of Prokofiev’s “Romeo and Juliet”. On CD 2, the newly remastered complete album release of Live At The Royal Albert Hall (1993) will be provided as more bonus.
In The Hot Seat will offer not only the original album remastered, but will include a studio version of Mussorgsky’s “Pictures At An Exhibition”, along with “A Time And A Place”, and Emerson’s “Piano Concerto No. 1: Third Movement”.
The second CD will provide twelve remastered live performance tracks including “Hoedown”, “Honky Tonk Train Blues”, “Tiger In The Spotlight”, and a medley of “Fanfare For The Common Man”, “Rondo”, “America”, and 21st Century Schizoid Man”. The album will include a booklet with a track by track commentary written by Greg Lake. (Lake had also contributed liner notes for Black Moon.

So, Live At The Royal Albert Hall does get remastered as well and it looks like "Then And Now" is added to In The Hot Seat, but I'm not sure.
I do ask...where is "A Blade of Grass" for Black Moon and "Hammer It Out" for In The Hot Seat????
They didn't leave these out did they?
I found the track listings for both CDs on PledgeMusic.com. Unfortunately, those 2 cuts were indeed left out, ugh. As far as the "Then And Now" bonus cuts, they are only including the "Now" cuts, not the "Then" cuts.
BLACK MOON:
Black Moon is ELP’s eighth studio album. It was released in 1992 when the band re-formed after 14 years, having split-up after their previous album, ‘Love Beach’ in 1978, and represents a real return to form. The music is a stripped-down, amped-up, more mainstream rock format, though in many places retaining the feel of their 70s prog epics. Expertly remastered for the first time by celebrated rock studio engineer Andy Pearce.
Disc 2 of the CD features a full, remastered recording of the critically acclaimed ‘Live At The Royal Albert Hall 1992’ show, part of ELP’s successful world comeback tour, which captured them at their powerful, exciting best.
The booklet in this gatefold, softpack, double CD set contains extensive, exclusive sleeve notes with recent band interviews by legendary rock journalist Chris Welch, and rare ELP archive photos.
Produced in association with Emerson, Lake & Palmer and management.
Tracklisting:
CD1 The Original 1992 album (2017 Remaster) 1. BLACK MOON 2. PAPER BLOOD 3. AFFAIRS OF THE HEART 4. ROMEO AND JULIET 5. FAREWELL TO ARMS 6. CHANGING STATES 7. BURNING BRIDGES 8. CLOSE TO HOME 9. Originally titled ‘The Best Seat In The House’, ‘In The Hot Seat’ is ELP’s ninth and final studio album. It was released in 1994 following their successful 1992 world tour comeback album ‘Black Moon’. The album comprises an interesting mixture of mainstream rock, classic ELP prog, melodic pop and finely crafted ballads. Among the well-produced ten tracks is the excellent ‘Hand of Truth’ and the deeply moving ‘Daddy’. Expertly remastered for the first time by celebrated rock studio engineer Andy Pearce.
The 2CD features the remastered original album, and a remastered version of the ‘Now Tour 97 / 98’ live album

I was hoping they would have released the entire "Live At The Royal Albert Hall" concert on its own 2 CD set.
I'm surprised there aren't any Black Moon demos available. A lot of that material was the basis for Keith's solo album "Changing States".
And as for Hot Seat, I have to wonder if any demos exist of the material they were planning to record for the follow up. Although Keith did officially record it later as the soundtrack to a Godzilla movie.

I've always liked Black Moon and I still play it, so I will get this and I no longer have Live At The Royal Albert hall which I remember as being weak.
I saw the opening night of the Black Moon tour in Philly at the Mann Music Center and it was a so-so performance as they were clearly rusty.
In 1993 I saw the tour for the Albert Hall live album at the Tower in Philly and it was 100% better show and set list.
In The Hot Seat is horrifying, but "Hand Of Truth", "One By One" and "Man In The Long Black Coat" are great so I will get this as well.
I guess the 18 minute version of "Man In The Long Black Coat" Keith spoke of will never surface if it was ever properly recorded.

How ever "In The Hot Seat" was released with the song "Daddy" is beyond me. This is absolutely a piece of scum that should have never been released by anyone. I would have given them credit if they had removed this song before the extended release.

Yes, I'm very familiar with the story and while I can respect individuals with their own grief, I personally can't see any time when this story is delivered well and in a situation like this one. If you or others see different, it's certainly your call, but I see this song painful and not that well done.
Let me say it another way. Just because you somehow feel compelled to do a song like this one, that doesn't mean that it's the right time to do it. This song may somehow help the family, though I don't it and maybe somehow it gives him peace individually. That doesn't mean that it belongs for anyone else. It's a very painful story and as I said before, it's not well done here.

Yeah, not a great song in many regards but I don't get your very offensive remarks "This is absolutely a piece of scum ". What did you mean, did Lake somehow make this killer an anti-hero in your eyes?
It was a cold night in December The snow lay on the ground She was coming home from school one night From the other side of town It was getting late, there was something wrong Then I heard the news A tv flash and by 9 o'clock They'd found her socks and shoes
Daddy come and bring me home
I didn't know which way to turn I was shaking like a leaf I got into my car and drove Searching every street Has anybody seen her Have you found my little girl She's all I have, all I possess
And to me, she means the world
I can hear her calling Daddy come and bring me home Daddy, daddy come and bring me home Daddy, when are you gonna bring me home
As time went by each silent night We knew all hope was gone We knew the light had flickered From the eyes that once had shone They caught a man in a bar one night He confessed to what he'd done He'd laid her body out in some dark wood Just didn't know which one, Daddy, daddy come and bring me home Daddy, daddy come and bring me home
I just couldn't leave her out there Lying on her own 'cause she belongs to me And I belong to her I know she rests in heaven With the angels on a throne But now I hear her calling Daddy, daddy come and bring me home Daddy come and bring me home Daddy, daddy come and bring me home Daddy, daddy come and bring me home

I thought that was a real harsh criticism, but didn't know the backstory of the song. Knowing this really makes the word "scum" seem totally unnecessary. And if money is still going to a worthy cause due to its inclusion, I definitely would not give them credit for removing a song from its rightful place on the album.

Is this a piece of scum???
"I have my own daughter, too," Lake told The Post-Standard in 1994. "I suppose I'm in tears at least once or twice a week. I can go finish a whole day and be OK. But at night, the tears come to my eyes, because it's then that you take on the people's suffering."
Lake said he wrote the song to help cope with his own emotions, but then decided to release it with royalties going to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. "Daddy" also helped raise $5,000 for the Sara Anne Wood Rescue Center, a foundation for missing and abducted children established by Wood's father.
"Bob Wood is a man of much spiritual fortitude, " Lake told reporter Mark Bialczak. "I would not be as courageous and strong as he has been. Instead of a manifestation in hatred and evil, because of his belief in God, he's been able to turn this around to something that has the power of good."
According to The Post-Standard archives, Lake performed "Daddy" in front of nearly 3,000 fans at a 1994 holiday charity concert at the Landmark Theatre in Syracuse, raising more than $20,000 to help missing and abducted children. He also helped raise $200,000 at the Adam Walsh Center Auction, named after the abducted and murdered son of former Auburn resident and "America's Most Wanted" host John Walsh.
"I never intended to become this involved, " he said. "But it's the type of thing where the more one becomes involved, the more one identifies the need to be involved."

I thought about this more and first and foremost, my apologize for the use of the word "scum". I do not want that word to be offended to anyone personally and perhaps that was an inappropriate word. I also don't want to keep the thread kept away from the real story, the two reissues. I'll just try to quickly said this better in a more accurate fashion and then leave it alone.
The song is bad, simple as that. It's just not one of their best songs. Additionally, I would have much rather seen this song done as a stand-alone kind of thing for the benefit of everyone involved. They could still sell their versions to the benefit financially of anyone involved. This song should have never been used in the album as it was, hopefully that they recognized by the fact that it never got added to the reissues in the other sections. I will get the songs as I have been, because I'm a big fan, but I will not listen to the new albums without removing the song first.
So again, I apologize for those who are personally offended by the word "scum", which was not intended to anyone here individually. I'll just stay with it's a very poorly performing song that I also one that should have not been included where it was. Hopefully not can let this one go and go back to discussing the merits of the two new reissues on their own.

1. I wasn't even aware of the 1994 album!
2. This reinforces what I mentioned in another thread: BMG does not belong on Pledge music. It was originally for indie artists who couldn't afford the cost of recording & releasing a cd. If Pledge wants to have any credibility, they need to ban the big 3 labels.

I wasn't aware of it either, then last week I was filing some ELP and discovered I owned it! I think I bought it in a large lot at some point.Still have yet to play it.

Definitely. It's ridiculous.
