I am having a tough time with my own bloody poll! I chose the Arista years. My very fav album is Lola, but I don't like anything else in that period; so am holding back on my 2nd choice for now. It will either be 1 or2.

1st 2
Best run was Face To Face thru School Boys
only dislike is the Live one.
I do like their early lps which were mostly a singles type band which most were back then,
One of my top 5 bands - lots of time as high as #3,

1st 2 easily.........including the Preservations/Soap Opera/Schoolboys.
I have the entire Kinks collection, but Misfits is the last one I listen to regularly.

First 2 definitely - Sleepwalker is the last album I regularly listen to.
I do really like all three box sets they did in the last several years. All excellent compilations..

The Arista years.
Everything from 1977-83 is purely awesome and a big part of my growing up.

I'm with Charles and DJGarver, and Robert. I find with most bands who've been around for decades, there is one peak ten-year span for my tastes. With the Kinks it's 1966 through 1975.
