it's called "children of destiny" and it is with the promise of the real and it is NOT on "earth" or "the monsanto years"......and it is not acoustic, as 'hitchhiker' is supposed to be.

the impending "possibility" of a new neil young album probably means the inevitable delay(once again) of the 2 box sets now slated for a september release.
linda is most likely correct in that those will push back closer to christmas.

Neil's material has been pick and choose since he moved to Geffen so this is nothing new. He puts out some good stuff and puts out some complete ****. This new song definitely fits in with the second category IMO.
I will wait patiently for my Decade to arrive (hopefully Monday) and the two multi-disc sets sometime in the next millennium . I am not cancelling since I locked them in at a low price.

Neil Young Announces New Album The Visitor. 12/1/2017
Neil Young has once again teamed up with his backing band the Promise of the Real (which features Willie Nelson’s son Lukas). Their new album is called The Visitor, and it’s out December 1 via Reprise. It features a new song called “Already Great.” Listen to it below. Neil and Promise of the Real worked together on the 2016 album EARTH and the political 2015 album The Monsanto Years. Earlier this year, Young and Promise of the Real also released a one-off single called “Children of Destiny.” The song preached an anti-Trump message: “Stand up for what you believe/Resist the powers that be.”
