really?
or are you being facetious?
No. I missed it on CD when it last came out.
i can tell you with 100% conviction that you did not miss anything at all. 'consequences' is a really bad album, really bad.
definitely in my all time bottom 5 albums that i was foolish enough to by, right there with 'a letter home', 'endless wire' 'driving rain', and one yet to be determined.

From a recent article; Steven Wilson begs to differ.
"The record I think is the most underrated of all time is Kevin Godley/Lol Creme's 'Consequences'. A triple album with dialogue written and performed by Peter Cook. Total masterpiece."

I have the "Consequences" CD (I recently sold the LP box finally). I think there are some great tracks on it (especially the first half or so), but I always skip the dialogue. Now that I see the tracklisting here, I may get this if the price is right and there's good remastering. I have the two-fer CD of "L"/"Freeze Frame". I've been wanting "Ismism/Snack Attack" on CD for a long time, and I've never heard "Birds of Prey" except for a few tracks on a compilation. "Goodbye Blue Sky" didn't do too much for me; "History Mix" was pretty good. I see remixes and B-sides which may make this a better purchase...

i swear to you, it is borderline unlistenable, completely inane. even those beautiful 10CC vocals are not there.
I totally disagree. I think 'Consequences' is brilliant. It was so ahead if it's time and truly defines what a concept album can be.
Didn't know about the Steve Wilson remark, WOW! Thanks Kym.
There is abridged song only single CD which encompasses the songs only.
The only negative thing I can say is I wish 10CC as a group would allow Godley & Crème the time to fulfill their ambitions and dreams with their art.
Maybe 10CC could have continued as the great foursome as they were.
the abridged song you speak of is "bits of blue sky" and it is on a very budget priced best of called 'images". there are a ton of then on both amazon and ebay...cheap.

Here was the one I was referring to, this is a re-master from Edsel. Two albums on one disc!
There also is a One Way U.S. release of a song only release as well I believe.
Track listing 1. Five OClock In The Morning 2. When Things Go Wrong 3. Lost Weekend [featuring Sarah Vaughan] 4. It's Cool, Cool, Cool In The Morning 5. Sailor 6. Rosie [featuring Peter Cook] 7. Sleeping Earth 8. Honolulu Lulu 9. The Flood 10. Burial Scene 11. The Sporting Life 12. Sandwiches Of You 13. Art School Canteen 14. Group Life 15. Punchbag 16. Foreign Accents 17. Hit Factory 18. Business Is Business

He isn't talking about any particular song. He's referring to the non-dialogue, songs-only, version of CONSEQUENCES.
