Description
Vandenberg was a Dutch hard rock band that was formed in 1981. There first album Vandenberg was recorded at Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page's studio, Sol Studios. In 1983 their first single "Burning Heart" reached No. 39 on the U.S. Billboard hot 100 charts. They toured the U.S. as the opening act for Ozzy Osbourne and Kiss. They then toured independently in Japan in 1984. Now you can have the whole collection on 2 CDs. It contains all three of their Atlantic albums, "Vandenberg", "Heading For A Storm" and "Alibi", plus two rare bonus tracks.

I have the first album on vinyl but never heard the others. Still think "Burning Heart" is one of the all-time great power ballads. Are the other albums worth checking out?

I think all three albums are worth having. "Heading for a Storm" is as good as the first album. "Alibi" is a bit of a step down but is still a quality album. I liked all of them enough where I purchased expensive Japanese imports during a time in my life where spending that much money on 3 CDs was a difficult decision.

Heading For A Storm is an excellent record and had a minor hit with "Friday Night."

All 3 albums are high quality and Adrian Vandenberg is a guitar genius and he designed all the album covers.

Go with the Rock Candy remasters for each album.

They all sound very good with detailed liner notes and there's no way Wounded Bird did any mastering.

If that's the tracklist then this collection is missing the half of the third album and should be completely avoided!

That doesn't seem possible, since this is entitled "Complete". I'm sure we'll get a corrected tracklist before the release date.
