Iced Earth are probably the best American metal band out there right now. This isn't a death metal band or a nu metal band...they are more in the traditional metal department like an Iron Maiden or Judas Priest. Their last album was only average by their standards which means that this one will probably be a monster. There is a deluxe art book edition available with a CD and the album on two slabs of 10" vinyl (limited to 3000...but there are different colored vinyl options available and some of those are limited to just 100 copies worldwide).

I only like the stuff Matt Barlow sang on. I could never get into the other singers. I thought Barlow was a good fit in the band. I guess being a cop pays better than being in Iced Earth
