Too bad there aren't some Timothy B. Schmit remasters in there, because Smiff would be all over those.

How is the Don Felder album? I have never heard his solo stuff beyond his contributions to the "Heavy Metal" soundtrack, and I really like "Heavy Metal (Takin' a Ride)". Is there anything in that style on this release? I tend to like the rock style of the Eagles more than the country. The AllMusic review is brutal, yet they give the albm 3 and a half stars, so it makes no sense. I can't find much else on-line about it.

I had ll of them originally on vinyl (when I grabbed anything that Asylum released). I later got the Wounded Bird cds. Felder had a couple of good songs on his. Meisner had a few good songs. Leadon/Georgiades was, personally, really dull...maybe one good track. All three demonstrated that they really needed the Eagles because none of them could fill a complete album of their own material.

Well, I got my Felder disc yesterday. I actually like it a bit better than his recent solo disc (which wasn't bad). One thing I don't understand is why Henley and Frey wouldn't let Felder sing Victim Of Love as Felder wanted to since he wrote a good portion of the song. His voice isn't Henley or Frey, but his vocals aren't slouchy either.
