I’ve been trying out Red cd’s from my library for years, but finally yesterday I got this at my local Lifeway Christian Store on sale for 5 bucks, and in my opinion if you’re already a fan of this album you should pick up this new version ASAP. The remastering done here is fantastic, a nice improvement over the original, really smooth and lifelike, with little things brought up in the mix to make it sound even more intense. And the bonuses are just the icing on the cake. The acoustic versions are interesting ways to hear their biggest hits, and the two brand new songs are even better than some of the songs that made it onto the actual album when it came out. All in all this is a really great package to a really great album, and I highly recommend fans of the group buy it, or even if you just like Christian hard rock/heavy metal with some pianos and violins thrown in.
