Description
The 'Authorized Bang Collection' celebrates the 50th anniversary of Van Morrison's first solo record and includes, for the first time on CD, the original mixes of the master recordings, including the hit "Brown Eyed Girl". Bonus material includes session outtakes and the first official release of the humorous "contractual obligation session".

I am really looking forward to this. It will be nice to have the mono and stereo LP mixes on CD. I hope this is mastered by Vic Anesini like the Legacy "Essential" and "It's Too Late to Stop Now" sets were, but I wouldn't be surprised if this was put together by Andrew Sandoval (looks like his type of track list) and mastered by Dan Hersch like the Legacy Them set. I prefer Anesini, but either way this should be the definitive collection of the Bang tracks.
That's one ugly cover, though. Looks like something thrown together by Camden or MFP in 1972. Beyond budget!

I picked up this set today at my local Barnes and noble.......after my 20 percent coupon and ten percent off member discount the cost was only 34 cents more than Amazon's.
