I love Michael Stanley. I grew up in the Cleveland area, and one the best shows I ever saw was Michael Stanley at the Front Row Theater in December 1984. The setlist for that show was:
Round And Round
All I Ever Wanted
Working Again
In the Heartland
I'll Never Need Anyone More (Than I Need You Tonight)
When I'm Holding You Tight
Why Should Love Be This Way
In Between the Lines
How Can You Call This Love
Promises
Let's Get the Show on the Road
Slip Away
Falling in Love Again
Midwest Midnight
Fire in the Hole
Shut Up and Leave Me Alone
Spanish Nights
Someone Like You
Lover
Somewhere in the Night
He Can't Love You
My Town
Strike Up the Band
The Front Row was a great venue....theater-in-the round that only sat 3200. The last row was only 59 feet from the stage, with absolutely no obstruction from any seat. The Front Row was where Roy Orbison played his last concert on December 4, 1988. He passed way 2 days later.
