Hello, all!

Sorry I'm been mostly out of touch so far this year, but I've been fighting a stubborn winter cold (the human sinuses -- solid proof against intelligent design) and an annoying case of Tennis Elbow. (I don't even play tennis!)

I've also been busy...and I promise that there'll be more about that in future posts.

But in the meantime, I wanted to let you fine folks know that my man Seth has posted more comics from my persoanl files on ebay. This time, it's from my stash of Frank Miller's Sin City (for those of you above the age of consent...looks around...yeah, I'd say that's most of you). Here's the address...

http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQfgtpZ1QQfrp ... Zbraseth77

Also...according to Amazon.com, my new novel -- Superman: The Never-Ending Battle -- should be going on sale June 1st. Amazon is offering a small discount on the book, but it's also listed on the websites for Borders and Powell's Books. (I'd insert an image of the cover here, but I haven't figured out how to do that yet.)

More soon!
-- Uncle Rog

I know this is usually Linda's domain, but I thought a little "sticky-love" was in order for Unca Rog!

Yay! Buy Unca Rog's stuff - especially the novel!

Hey Unca Rog, who do we need to threaten to kneecap to get you writing some DC comics goodness again? Lord knows I can think of several titles that could use the Stern touch.

I think there's a clue in the thread title. Unca Rog will be doing Captain Marmalade.

(Don't laugh, I'd buy that if he were doing it. And so would you!)

Here's a little update...my treasured old copies of MARVEL COLLECTORS ITEM CLASSICS and MARVEL'S GREATEST COMICS are currently up for bid at the link above...over thirty issues of Lee/Kirby, Lee/Ditko, and Lee/Heck goodness! (But I'm hanging onto my copy of issue #4, for sentimental reasons.)

And, for those of you who speak Spanish, there's a cover-featured interview with yours truly in DOLMEN #108. Again, I'd paste a copy of the cover in here, but this thing won't tell me how to do it. (Help!)

A mini-interview with Ron Frenz and Yours Truly vis-a-vis "The Kid Who Collects Spider-Man" is slated to appear -- along with a lot of other cool stuff -- in BACK ISSUE #10, shipping May 19th from TwoMorrows.

(Are you sick of me yet?)

...with another big ol' plug!

It seems that AVENGERS #267-269 is going to be collected (along with some other stuff by guys named Lee and Thomas) in a new trade out in May -- AVENGERS: KANG TIME & TIME AGAIN. According to Marvel, the cover is supposed to look something like this...

The best Avengers vs. Kang stories in one TPB? Excellent idea! Congrats on seeing some of your work get the recognition it deserves, Rog.

Hopefully they focus on stuff from Messrs. Stern, Thomas, and Lee, and omit the "Teen Iron Man" garbage.

That would be a pretty small collection, Keith. Sorry, but that's twenty down and we go to Bennett Cerf...
