Maybe you guys should try the White Hot album, the one after On Earth. That was the one that broke them on radio, and there was a Christmas track constantly being played everywhere:

And I didn't get to hear Winter Song as also known as Christmas Song this year during the season despite having XM Radio and have Angel set as a favorite alert.
Frank DiMino had one of rock's most distinctive voices, a heavenly tenor as befits a member of Angel.

Anyone who's an Angel fan should get the book And Party Every Day, by Larry Harris, the former vice-president of Casablanca Records.
Casablanca had high hopes that Angel would be the next KISS, in that they would be Casablanca's next big rock act, but it never happened.
They gave them a logo, costumes and a big push, but for some reason, Angel was always running into bad luck and by the end of the decade, Casablanca moved on because they were never going to happen.
Surprising that Angel failed at the start of the 80s which ended up being a "hair" band decade. Maybe if they had stuck with it a little longer. The biggest problem they just never had that "big" hit. KISS had their Rock N Roll All Night.
