By old I mean 60+
The only one I can think of is Jeff Beck. He's always been great, but he seems to get better every year.
Off the top of my head, the only ones I can think of that have even largely stayed the same in quality would be Andy Powell, Roger Steen, Steve Howe & Bruce Cockburn; with possibly the guys from Thin Lizzy & Tony Iommi being in that category (Pete could make a more definitive comment on on TL & TI then I can).
As far as the thread topic; unless I'm terribly forgetting someone, Beck is in a class by himself.

Buck Dharma is aging extremely well. Unfortunately he doesn't really have the recorded output to document it (other than the one song he released on Soundcloud a year or two back), but catch any number of videos recent shows on YouTube and you'll see, for a guy who will be 70 this year he's still pretty amazing.

Jeff Beck first came to mind. Then Fripp. As brilliant today as he ever was. Pat Martino as well—even more remarkable considering his story. Trower still incredibly brilliant too.

Joe Walsh? Saw him last year here on LI up close and he still as smooth as silk.

Lindsey Buckingham still astounds on every Fleetwood Mac tour, especially his solo on "I'm So Afraid."

Al Di Meola seems to get better with age.

Walsh is a good choice.
Last I saw him, Ted Nugent hadn't lost anything playing-wise.
Joe Satriani still has every bit of it.

Kirk Hammett. When I watch the Live in Sofia (Big4) Blu Ray, I was impressed at the level he has taken himself to. In the 80's, to me, Kirk was an average lead guitarist in a killer band. Back then, Mustaine was the better lead player (and still is). Watch the Sofia disc. Check out Megadeth and then Metallica. Compare the two. The comparisons are glaring to this day. Of course, Mustaine can't sing for shit.

Joe Satriani is only barely in his 60s (born in 66). Kirk Hammet is only in his 50s. Geff said 60s or older.

The title says R&R Guitarists Who Get Better As They Get Old. Geff can't change the rules in the middle of the game.

Ted's right. I was thinking of really older players when I started the thread. The motivator was listening to Jeff Beck's Live+, which never fails to astound.

Ok I tried to Google it, but what does R&R stand for? Also AL Di Meola is the correct answer.

Allan Holdsworth qualifies. Saw him live in 2015 and he still has his magic. Another one who qualifies is Brand X's legendary guitarist John Goodsall who I just saw last week in NYC. He still has it.

Yep, Satch is 60, that's why I included him.
I'd argue Ace Frehley is playing as well as ever. He's not going to make that kind of impact again, and the material overall isn't as strong, but playing-wise, he's been very good the last couple times I've seen him.
