Renny...you might also want to check on a reputable site to see if any of these are available for lossless download, an acceptable replacement for CD in my eyes if the CD isn't available. Some of my wishlist things have made it to flac download.

Remember the good old days when those Steve Millers were listed for a release date, then after we all pre-ordered them, they never came out?

Cashman & West - "A Song Or Two" has never been released on CD. I doubt it ever will be.

Agree 100% on this one, Linda.

Why any of Glyn Johns' Get Back mixes were not used is puzzling to me.

But with Universal in charge of the catalog, maybe Get Back will get some sort of release.

I have been lucky this year, some of my want list has been satisfied but of course we have more to do.

Here's afew off the top my head.

Dwight Twilley "Jungle" (1984) US #39 & "Wild Dogs" (1986)

Cretones "Snap! Snap!" 2nd album

Argent "Counterpoints" (last album on MCA)

Rod Argent "Moving Home" (first solo album -also on MCA)

ShadowShow Not strictly a Rod Argent recording as "Shadowshow" were a band featuring Barbara Thompson, Jon Hiseman, Clem Clempson and John Mole in addition to Rod Argent.

The Tenants - "The Tenants" 1983 New Wave band from Toronto; bands sounds somewhat like The Police and a dash of Paul Weller

the splinter albums not out on CD are weird. no reason they shouldn't be, unless the masters are gone.

Since I got back into vinyl a few years back, I have less to bitch about being unavailable. My vinyl collection has been growing in leaps and bounds—particularly jazz. Between Amazon, iTunes, Discogs, and eBay, I pretty much find what I need—gathering the requisite $$$ when needed being the only problem. An ongoing project is collecting all 164 Mosaic Records box sets; I have 141 as of today. I've also been discovering the more obscure 1920–30s jazz groups; and started getting into some blues as well. But I do not get into those high-priced, fetishist, collectible records; I just like listening, even if it's on youtube. I discover something cool nearly every day.

Linda, sadly Crapple blew it with "Let It Be Naked" and "Get Back". They could have released "Get Back" instead of "Naked" and satisfied both the collector and the casual fan. It could have been marketed as "The Great Lost Beatle Album" or something along those lines. The casual fan who bought "Naked" would have had the same (or better) reaction to "Get Back" and bought it. Collectors would have bought it of course because it would finally be an official release of the album

With "Naked" out there though, I don't think that we;ll ever see "Get Back", at least not until Crapple has some people in charge who really know what they're doing. I'm not holding my breath for that one.

Lulu's "Don't Take Love for Granted" (1978) on Rocket
Bonnie Pointer's self-titled 1979 album (the one with the purple cover) on Motown
Lulu's self-titled 1981 album on Alfa
Three Dog Night's "It's A Jungle" EP (1983) on Passport
I Am Siam's "She Went Pop" (1984) on CBS

I'd also be in for several of the previously mentioned LPs, especially Buckingham/Nicks, Rosanne Cash, Eric Stewart, "Inside Moves" OST and Dwight Twilley.

"She Went Pop" is one of the few 80s hits (depending on one's definition of "hit") that I can't find on a CD. Along with John Hunter's "Tragedy." So I'll add:

John Hunter: Famous At Night (1985)

The entire DC5 catalog has been available on so many quality boots (& the Hollywood GH) that I really don't care anymore.
