Just got round to realizing this, but quite a few of these releases are complete versions of out of print Mosaic box sets: both the three CD Select series, and well as a few of the large boxes. I didn't download any of these as I already have all the Mosaic boxes. But for those that missed the first time around, or do not want to pay "collector" prices for original boxes, they are a good deal. Of course the great Mosaic booklets are not included (doesn't look like any notes are included as PDFs). Search for "Capitol Vaults Jazz Series" as well as variations on this as some are under a slightly different name.

There are also a few Verve reissues of OOP Mosaic sets as well: Tal Farlow, Basie, Eldridge, Mulligan etc.

I wish they would do this stuff in lossless!

Speaking of Oop Mosaic, I'd sure love to get a digital transfer of the long oop Johny Hodges Vinyl only Mosaic box, (That's likely Verve material, though I don't know for certain)

I still need to pick up the latest James P Johnson also.
