RIP. I loved The Green Hornet and its visual style. It was like Batman's serious cousin.

I remember seeing several episodes of the series as a kid, but it wasn't until 1987 when I was
living in Sweden where I got to view most of the episodes from the perspective of an adult, and
then again when they ran a marathon of them right before the new movie I refused to see came out.

I had had hopes that with the Batman Blu-ray release that we would see a nice Green Hornet
collectors set as well, but those Greenway Production ownership rights are a nightmare I hear,
and I just don't think that there's the support needed for this to ever really happen. But I've also
heard news about a more serious GH movie take in the future. So, who knows?

And if anyone is interested in the character, the two Green Hornet chapter serials from the 40s
are pretty darn good examples of good serials. I can certainly recommend them.
