Well...that Texas-Notre Dame game tonight was one of the wildest big-time games ever.
Texas pulls off the upset 50-47 in 2 OTs!
Swoopes is a battering ram!

Yeah, he was at USC, but I believe that Orgeron (I think that's how it is spelled, I had it wrong earlier) took over as USC interim coach after Lane Kiffin was fired. When USC eventually hired Sark as the head coach instead of him, Orgeron left Southern Cal and later landed at LSU

Ah, you're right, I got the timeline out of order. I was thinking of Kiffin getting fired at the airport and the period before Sarkisian abandoned UW.

I was hoping they would lose to Auburn yesterday so Miles would go but I never expected it this soon. Nevertheless, I am happy.

Notre Dame at NC State today, looks like they're playing at a waterpark, due to rains from Matthew.

Notre Dame is terrible this year.
I think the Florida game got cancelled.

My Alma mater Rutgers did all of us proud putting up quite the fight against Michigan losing a nail-biter 78-0.
The Scarlet Knights gave it their all with a whopping TWO first downs all game, 22 whole yards and 16 punts.
Leave the Big Ten now and realize you ca never compete.
What a travesty.

Big Ten football is coming to Friday nights in 2017 and beyond.
The league's new TV contract, which begins next season, will include a package of six Friday night games. The news was first reported by the Chicago Tribune.
The Friday night games will be limited to September and October and won't include every team. Schools with huge stadiums, such as Penn State and Ohio State, won't be asked to host them. And Michigan has declined to participate in Friday night games at home or on the road, Big Ten commissioner Jim Delany told the Tribune.
The Friday night slate will include three nonconference and three conference contests. Until now, the league has resisted playing on weeknights except for the opening week of the season. The Big Ten has no current plans to play on Thursday nights, senior associate commissioner Mark Rudner told the Big Ten Network.

Well, that's the playoff field (and the whole top 10) tossed out the window (except for 'Bama of course).

Yes, quite an astounding Saturday. #2, 3, and 4 all go down.

Now to see what they do with the field now that there's a whole bunch quality 1-loss teams. Curious where Washington winds up - they lost (and it wasn't that close), but at least it was to a ranked team on the rise, unlike Michigan and Clemson....

Yeah, their loss was to a ranked team as well, so I guess we'll see where that "strength of schedule" argument goes now.

Michigan-Ohio State this Saturday.
#2 vs. #3.
This might be one for the ages.
