A new Top 100 list, this time from The Hollywood Reporter. Some good choices, some inexplicable choices, some odd rankings, but everyWAN is sure to find several favourites in THR's list. (Our Uncle Rog has more than one entry.)

Interesting. Yeah, some inexplicable ones on there but enough pleasant surprises to make the inexplixyzptlks forgivable.

If we say "skltpzyxilpxeni" will it disappear back to where it came from?

Ultimate Spider-Man is ranked at #9?
But Uncle Rog's ASM run is only at #78?
It should be the other way round.

There's at least 25 titles here I haven't read.

It's got a lot I don't like, but it's still probably one of the better "greatest comics" lists out there.

In fact, they're hardly for kids at all.

A surprisingly good, or at least interesting list. I'd say it's compiled by some thoughtful comic book readers.

Alan Moore didn't fare as well as I might have thought. And Swamp should be somewhere up in the top 15.

It gets to a bad start with DeFalco's FF at the top. "People complained about it but sales kept going up and up!" It's almost as if it was a ... I don't know, like a BUBBLE or something, that kept growing ...

But after that it gets a'ight.

Knowing the audience at that time, I do think some of the things that didn't age well like Sue wearing a Psylocke outfit probably did help boost those sales.

Nah. Not in a world with decades of Gerry Conway comics.

Isn't the world big enough for them both to suck?

DeFalco's Thor run with Frenz is one of my faves.
