I'm a sentimental sap, so I have to vote for Field of Dreams.

However, I also love 61* as a tribute to Fargo's own Roger Maris. May not count since it was first a TV movie.

I like most of them, but I only own one: A League of Their Own.

But I probably would have picked The Sandlot if it had been on the list.

And when I was a kid, I loved It Happens Every Spring.

Against my own self-interest, I might've voted for Damn Yankees if it was on the list, but I went with A League of Their Own.

A League Of Their Own for me. It's funny and touching. Though I liked Major League, too. It's funny.

Pride of the Yankees for me, closely followed by The Natural.

Pride of the Yankees is from a different, classic era. So it's probably not a natural comparison -- both are my favorites.

While not a big baseball fan, I'm a big fan of baseball movies.

Go figure!

The Sandlot definitely receives some love, but I'll choose one from the actual list, and while Field of Dreams packs an emotional whallop, I'm giving my vote to Major League.

It's a perfect example of a sports underdog movie, and perfectly sums up life for Cleveland sports fans, all in one package.

On the list it's between Major League and A League Of Their Own....I went with League Of Their Own.

But the real correct answer is The Sandlot.

I'm partial to Major League myself. Not sure why.

This. In fact I don't even understand the rules. Few people in the UK would, I would guess. But some of my favourite movies are on that list. Hard decision, but I'm going with Major League. It is difficult, though, to think of a BAD one abouit baseball. We had this conversation before iirc and someone pointed out that this was also true about boxing (apart for on the worst bits of the Rocky series).

Pride of the Yankees. Field of Dreams is 2nd. The book was good, too.

Yes. Yes, that's it exactly. What a bunch of funny lines from that guy. There were other things, but without Eucker, it wouldn't be nearly as good.

ALOTO, followed by Bull Durham. Or Damn Yankees. Or Pride of the Yankees.

My only problem with ALOTO is that I've always loved Téa Leoni.
And where that really isn't a problem normally, in this case, even though she was a
very minor character in this movie (played 1st Base for Racine), because I knew her
and tended to keep focused on her whenever she was on the big screen, that caused me
to instantly spot that RACINE CHEATS in the 7th game.

They bat Téa in the 8th and again out of batting order in the 9th inning.
