Description
Twisted Sister's high-decibel anthems, raucous shows and memorable videos took the hard-rocking quintet from playing bars in the Seventies to headlining festivals in the Eighties. The band, which has sold more than 10 million records worldwide, is celebrating its 40th anniversary this summer with one final tour.

The Best of The Atlantic Years brings this together the jewels of their catalogue in a brand new 1 CD jewel case comp - featuring the previously unreleased cover of ‘Born To Be Wild', new sleeve notes from Gary Bushell and fluorescent pink ink!

Tracklist

2. I'll Never Grow Up, Now!
3. Sin After Sin
4. You Can't Stop Rock 'N' Roll
5. I Am (I'm Me)
6. The Kids Are Back
7. I Wanna Rock

Looks very nice! Their previous compilation was awful.

Finally, a good comp, but where's "Under The Blade"?

I hope it sounds good.

Didn't that come out years ago on CD?

How does it compare to the previous comp with the same name?

I can't say because I didn't have any comps before this. I own the Stay Hungry remaster and I like how that sounds.

The song should be on here, that's what I meant.

With reissue remastering the way it is, I would probably want the previous version for hopefully better sound quality, but if this is not too loud or anything, I might consider getting it just to have TS represented in my collection.

This isn't loud..... at least to me. Of course, everyone hears things differently. Loud is how they mastered the companion cd for the new live Blu Ray. I posted actual wave forms for that in that thread. Checking waveforms is something I never do. But this was so loud that I had to see it for myself. Then the mindless drones were attacking me for my opinion/review on Amazon.

Ahhh, just get it. :D

I finished listening to it today and I'm officially impressed with the mastering. The later stuff sounds better than the early stuff, but that all comes down to how it was recorded to begin with. But even the early TS songs sound damn good.

The Born To Be Wild track is the unreleased song. It's okay, but nothing to write home about.

I assume this mastering is different from the remastered album since it's a different label?

Who did the remastering and what era is Born to Be Wild from?

Okay..... it's 2016 remastering by (get this) Andy Pearce and Matt Wortham. That should make everyone happy with Pearce's name attached to this. :yay:
