I heard the song "Stone Cold Yesterday" on a local radio station, and afterwards the deejay mentioned the name of the song and the band. However, he pronounced Connells differently than I expected, and I got to wondering: What is the proper pronunciation for "The Connells" ?
Is it KHAN - ulz , accent on first syllable , rhymes somewhat with "models"
Or, is it kuh - NELZ , accent on second syllable , sorta rhymes with Adele's
I think it's the latter, but a brief internet search turned up nothing definitive

Thanks, Linda.
I just found a YouTube clip that confirms this, it's a vintage "120 Minutes" MTv segment with Lewis Largent interviewing Mike Connell and Doug MacMillan
