I did a search...
Nothing related on this show was returned.
What the heck, people!?!?
Why aren't you watching this show?!?!?
If you have Netflix, and aren't hooked by watching the first 8 1/2 minutes of Episode 1...
You likely have no soul.
It's only 8 episodes long, which solves many of the problems I've found with a few of the 12-13 episode seasons that seem to be about 4 shows too long.
So get to it already!!

Been there, watched it, loved it. Felt like it might be dragging in the middle, especially with Winona Ryder's character, but overall I thought it was great.
It's like Stephen King, Steven Spielberg, and John Carpenter had a baby.

I checked it out on your recommendation, and it was indeed nostalgic for me just revisiting the era it evoked.
I was surfing the internet while watching, so I'm not sure I caught everything. But if I'm correct, the first episode didn't reveal much of what's going on.

The parents' guide is not populated yet with information. Can you describe how bad it gets in terms of age appropriateness? I might enjoy this with my 11 year old. I heard the potty mouth in the first episode.
How bad is the language, is there ever any explicit sex and nudity?
I suppose the gross factor is important, too, but I don't think it will exceed my tolerance level (Daredevil didn't). Almost nothing does except for gruesome beheadings.

I wouldn't watch this with my 11 year old. There's a teenage sex scene that isn't graphic or anything, but it's obvious what's happening. The kids curse just like I did when my parents weren't around back then, so if the potty mouth in the first episode turned you off, it doesn't get any better.

I watched with the 20, 16, 12s x 2, and even the 4 year old enjoyed it. She came in as I was finishing the first episode and wanted to know what happened to Will. So yes, I'm a horrible parent. I would say this has more "jump factor" scares and "goosebumpy fear" than anything else. Your child's mileage could vary.

I just blew through this in one day. I didn't even know how much I wanted a show like that.

Oh, well, with recent access to Netflix, I guess I should try this then, eh?
I'll put it on the schedule.

Just finished it tonight and It, certainly, lived up to the hype. I can't wait for season 2!

Finally got NEtflix, finally watched the first few of these with my 12 year old lad - great stuff! Loved the story but also loved every movie reference that was there - can't wait to watch the next episode with him next time he's over (which is tomorrow!)

Yep both Stranger Things and its sequel are must see TV. Old fashioned fun and filled with great songs from the era.
Doesn't everyone Netflix And Chill by now?

Eli pressured me to watch Series One (he had already watched it multiple times) so we watched it together. Finished a week or two before Series 2. Watched that in about a week.
Excellent stuff. Homages to all things kid. The eighties were that transition between outside and inside.
Loved it. Can't wait for Series 3.

This season was fantastic. And after both Season One, where they broke the douche boyfriend trope, and Season Two, Steve is one of my favorite characters on the show.
