Wagner's Batman stuff has been a lot of fun. I've wanted to check out Mage and Grendel but haven't done so yet.

There are four inexpensive softcover Omnibus editions for the first two volumes of Grendel. The first two in particular are incredible, and feature many great artists.

This might be my favorite piece of work by Matt Wagner.

I had all of my Grendel issues bound a few years ago, and it looks like I did pretty much what Dark Horse did, except I added the Silverback mini to the Hunter Rose binding.

Wagner's Grendel/Shadow crossover from a few years ago was just wonderful. Makes me hold out hope he can put together a Grendel/Shadow/Batmn crossover someday.

The 2 Batman/Grendel mini series were good as well, IIRC he did a Shadow/Grendel crossover as well.

That second image I posted is from the Shadow/Grendel crossover. It was fantastic.

Also liked the Mage series.
Liked Wagner's art direction on Zorro, too.
