It frustrates me that this has never been remastered.

Great news

"Rust Never Sleeps" is one of my all-time favorite concert movies. I'd love to see it improved and released on blu ray.

Both are playing theaters soon-I saw the poster in the lobby.

Next Monday night around here.

I love "Rust Never Sleeps", but I am satisfied with the DVD I already own.

I would much rather see Neil release "Trunk Show" finally.

And, bring on the next few volumes of "Archives"

If Rust has hi-res audio I'm likely in.

Maybe I should start a website that lists audio bit/sampling rates on music videos & try to make $'s on click through adds! It appears that the labels think people just don't care.
While audiophiles are a minority of the potential consumers; we're a fairly large minority.

To be 100% clear, I am not being sarcastic towards Linda or even Amazon; but am expressing frustration with how difficult this information is often to find.

Will Amazon have these two releases on Blu-ray? Both are available as preorders on Neil Young's Website, with a street date of 6/10/16.

There are supposed to be domestic Blu-rays of both movies on the same date as the DVDs, May 27th. I've added Amazon's Blu-ray listings to the first post, but they're currently erroneous, showing the Blus as import pressings (they're not) and at the higher import price. It's probably a good idea for us to hold off pre-ordering until the listings have been corrected.

Bump: These have been pushed back to June 10th, now. (Amazon is still showing the two Blu-rays as Region 2, but I continue to believe that they will turn out to be domestic Region 1 pressings.)

Amazon now has the back cover image for the Human Highway Blu-ray on their listing page. Click through the link in the first post and check out that picture. Even though the listing still says that the Blu-ray will be a Region 2 import, the back cover image shows an American pressing with the USA address and copyright details for Reprise/Warner. So I think we have our confirmation that the "Region 2" stuff is an error, and the Rust Never Sleeps and Human Highway Blu-rays are safe to pre-order.

Region says all in the globe on the back cover, so should be good for Region A.

Both of these titles have been pushed back to June 24th, per Amazon.

The stereo and 5.1 tracks are in 24/192 audio[the 5.1 in DTS MA].
