since Nightlife, i've been mostly underwhelmed by PSB; and it sounds like this new project will not alter than trend, unfortunately.

"The Pop Kids" will be getting a nice old-fashioned CD single release in England on March 18th, including remixes and non-album tracks:

Description
"The Pop Kids", the first single from the forthcoming Super album, will be released on March 18th on CD and digital formats. The "PSB Deep Dub" and 'The full story' versions are remixes by Pet Shop Boys including additional vocals and, in the case of "The Full Story", an extra verse which brings the story of the Pop Kids up to the present. "In Bits" was produced and mixed by Stuart Price. "One-Hit Wonder" was produced by Pet Shop Boys and mixed by Pete Gleadall - it is a new version of an instrumental track written in late 1981 and remade in 2014 as the theme for Berlin's online music show, The One-Hit Parade. This is the first time the full track has been released.

The Pet Shop Boys have now posted a YouTube stream of the entire album, including a new promo video for "Twenty-something":

I bought this the week it came out, but am bracing for the inevitable 2 CD Deluxe version to be announced in the next 6 months...

The Pet Shop Boys are playing the Garden in November.

Grabbed tickets today, they are actually playing The Theater at MSG, a smaller more intimate room which is actually a good thing.

Just grabbed tickets for Los Angeles show, which is the day before Alice Cooper. Great pre-Halloween weekend

I did grab 3 tickets so Jimbo will be joining us!

Always more than just a concert with the PSB. More like a Vegas show!

And The Theater at the Garden beats the other places I've seen them like Terminal 5. Had to sit in the upper balcony at the Beacon 2 years ago and that's rough so it will be nice to be on ground level with them directly in front of us.
