Have you seen this? It's Tom Scioli of Godland doing a Transformers and GI JOE comic set in its own continuity, and done full retro style.

I got the first few issues. I want to revisit it though. It appealed to me on many levels.

I'm actually not a fan of Transformers at all (they didn't run the cartoon in Korea when I was a kid and by the time I got back to the States, the fad was over), but I have been collecting this series from the very beginning.
