Clueless is one of the top ten movies of the 90's and I am unanimous in that. Also 10 Things I Hate About You makes me cry and I don't care what people think. Although I wish I hadn't done it in the theater.

Even Chocolat? Your man-card is at stake here.

Is Gone Girl a chick flick? I liked that.

I've never seen that, no. I guess I really mean I watch and enjoy (but never own or go see in theater) those romantic comedy type movies usually called chick flicks. Not Twilight or just plain romance movies. I'm not losing my man card for this garbage. :)

I would not say Gone Girl is a chick flick at all, no. I also wouldn't call The Help a chick flick, but maybe I don't completely understand what a chick flick actually is.

I would also say that neither Gone Girl not The Help are chick flicks.

I like the 3 Adam Sandler Drew Barrymore movies, the "Before" film series with Ethan Hawke, to name a few. I really dislike Adam Sandler but he and Drew work well together so he doesn't annoy me in those movies.

I like both those movies a lot.

Jane Austen was a very witty writer, and many of the films based on her novels are great. The Paltrow "Emma" for example, and the Alan Rickman "Sense and Sensibility."

Don't forget Jane Austen's Mafia.

Actually, I think everyone did.

The quality of chick flicks has dropped in the 10s. Most of the "classics" are quite awhile ago like You've Got Mail or Sleepless In Seattle.

Speaking of Drew Barrymore, I liked Never Been Kissed and Ever After.
