We lost a great musical ambassador in Allen Toussaint on the 10th of November. The New Orleans singer, songwriter and producer was one of the legends of Black music, having written songs such as 'Working In The Coal Mine' (Lee Dorsey), 'Pain In My Heart' (Otis Redding), 'Lipstick Traces' (The O'Jays) and 'Fortune Teller' (Benny Spellman). Toussaint worked with almost everybody from The Meters to Paul McCartney. Earlier this year, at the age of 77 he did a short season at London's Ronnie Scott's Club. Here are Toussaint's three Warner Reprise releases, dating from 1972, 1973 and 1978. Digitally remastered and slipcased. Extensive new notes.

You get everything here. Disc 1 is the same 22 tracks plus the single version of "Country John." Disc 2 is the full Motion album and a 1975 live concert.
