I believe all three of these discs were originally mastered by Doug Sax, one of the greatest mastering engineers of all time. They all came out before the mastering wars began. I really don't see how they can improve the sound of these. Without bonus tracks, this definitely just seems like a way to draw attention to catalog product with no real advantage to prior editions. It's good to have them back in print, though. I would like them to reissue "Mad Love" because I never got the CD of that and my vinyl is pretty beat up. I like her short-lived new wave phase.

I've never heard Linda's Spanish albums, so I may pick these up. What I would really love to see is a reissue of "Get Closer." It has been out of print forever and goes for huge money on eBay.
Jason - "Mad Love" is included in Linda's "Original Album Series" set which you can usually find new for around $10.

Got the first two yesterday from Amazon. Has a sticker that says newly remastered, although I don't see any remastering credits to know by whom. The biggest change I noticed is that the copyright info has been changed from Elektra/Asylum to Normal Music under exclusive license to Rhino.
