If anyone finds info on how to get one of these, please let me know. The article doesn't give info on purchase or size or much of anything.

From Cryptozoic And DC – Your Very Own Toy Comic Book Stand…

Quote:
From DC Comics and Cryptozoic Entertainment comes this “DC Comics Mini Comic Tile Collection” featuring a comic book spinning news stand, with replaceable and interchangeable mini comic books to ill it with.

Quote:
Take a mini-spin through comic history! The DC Comics Miniature Comic Tiles Collection features 20 miniature comic book tiles that depict iconic covers and key issues. Each comic book is a removable tile with entertaining retro-style advertisements on the back. This unique collectible is a nostalgic blast from the past for comic book fans of all ages.

What’s more, you can buy additional packs of “comic tiles” featuring other DC Comics titles, so you can change what’s on display.

I wonder if any other publishers will see their titles on these desktop fanciers…

Thanks.

Three bucks? I'll take ten.

And it's in comic shops the week AFTER Christmas?

I think it is retailer-only, and it is $3/comic. There are 40 of them.

So, $60 to fill the rack? And then you have to pay for the rack? Guessing that would be $100 at your local shop.

I'll wait for eBay. Maybe just buy the rack and make my own mini-comics.

I would love to have a real comics spinner rack. I'd fill it full of Charlton comics.

It's pissing me off that I have to do detective work to find out the size of this thing.

That Fleischer statue in the photo is 9" tall. So I'm guessing the rack is about 13" to 14" tall, with the comics being 3" tall.

I don't think it is a consumer product. It isn't even on the manufacturer's website.

I wish I'd bought more when I ordered mine. There was a display company selling them for around $35 in 2001 when I opened my shop. I just bought two. I could've bought fifty and sold them out of my shop for $100 each. I kept one and sold one to a customer.

You think they're selling the racks to retailers as a display to sell the mini-comics?

I think it may be the comic shop equivalent to a neon Budweiser sign.

It looks like I was right on the money at $100.

I'd love a list of all the comics, too. The ones shown so far are great choices.

Hopefully I'll be able to get my hands on one.

Hopefully the rack spins and is sturdy. If so, I'll make my own 4x3" comics to fill it for local cons and book festivals (and make a cover graphic to put over the top).

Well... what I really want is a Hey, Kids, Comics one. Still. I'll probably get one of these.
I wonder if they'll have Detective #359? I see they have the first Betty Kane Bat-Girl issue.

If I had some big fancy office, I might buy that as a conversation piece.

But I don't.
