You’ll no doubt enjoy the sound of the beautifully remastered songs on this CD (as opposed to MP3's that contain less information, which translate into compromised sound). But we think the thing you'll appreciate most about this Playlist is that even though you didn't make it, you might wish you did.

    

    

    

The Basia collection looks interesting (though I'd have switched out the schmaltzy "Brave New Hope" for another one of her bossa nova-style tracks.) Does anyone know if her singles are substantially different from the album versions?

I'm surprised that a couple of these are apparently out of print already and selling at collector prices.

Judging from the prices shown, Basia and Jeff Healey.

The Basia collection's current best price on Amazon is $20.17 and the Jeff Healey is selling for a whopping $29.56. Pretty high prices for what are supposed to be budget compilations. I was surprised because it seems like these just came out and I know other titles in this series have been around for several years. I've checked a couple of other retailers for the Basia CD and they either don't have it at all or only have it at collector's prices.
