Four New Black Sabbath Songs Featured on Tour-Only ‘The End’ CD

Read More: Four New Black Sabbath Songs Featured on Tour-Only 'The End' CD | http://ultimateclassicrock.com/black-sa ... he-end-cd/

When Black Sabbath kick off The End world tour next week, fans at each stop will have the chance to buy an exclusive, limited-edition CD. The eight-track album will include previously unreleased material: four outtakes from the 2013 album 13, and four live cuts from the band’s tour in support of it.

You can see the track listing for the CD below.

The disc also features exclusive artwork by Shepard Fairey/Obey Giant, and each stop on the tour will include exclusive posters made especially for each market.

Sabbath’s final tour launches in Omaha, Neb., on Jan. 20. After a month of North American dates, the group will head to Australia and New Zealand in mid-April for two weeks of shows. They’ll then play Europe for six weeks starting in early June, before wrapping up the live dates with a month in North America, with a final show now scheduled for Sept. 21 in Phoenix.

The band has said that this will be its last tour, and there will probably be no more new music. Singer Ozzy Osbourne has stated that he doesn’t want to make another Sabbath album, even though guitarist Tony Iommi isn’t against the idea.

As Black Sabbath gear up for the big tour, they recently released a sneak peek in the form of a 15-second “Final Tour Rehearsal Teaser,” which you can watch below.

Black Sabbath, ‘The End’ CD Track Listing
1. “Season of the Dead”
2. “Cry All Night”
3. “Take Me Home”
4. “Isolated Man”
5. “God is Dead?” (Live Sydney, Australia, 4/27/13)
6. “Under the Sun” (Live Auckland, New Zealand, 4/20/13)
7. “End of the Beginning” (Live Hamilton, ON, Canada, 4/11/14)
8. “Age of Reason” (Live Hamilton, ON, Canada, 4/11/14)

Jimbo will make a beeline to the souvenir stand the moment he passes through the gate.

I would imagine their will be a long line. The longest I've ever seen was at the Cat Stevens show up in Boston. It would be nice if they gave out a free CD.
Believe it or not it's starting to become common.
I've received free CDs from David Gilmour for buying tickets and from MUSE.

I'm not going to see the tour and it would bum me out big time if I had to pay an "ebay flipper" big money for a copy of this.

What do you think about the four studio tracks staying exclusive to this disc? Seems to me it's likely the four live tracks probably will stay exclusive to this disc, and the four studio tracks will be tacked on the general release of the live album for this tour.

We usually have a casual dessert after the meal that gets us in real that around 8PM so we may have to get the CD after the show.

Maybe - but you're usually not going to buy a CD, are you?

You'd better be in front of Jimbo in line, in case he tells security you're trying to sneak in a couple candy bars just so he can beat you to the stand.

With no shows around me, I'm going to have to see if my buddy is going to see them.

I always get a t-shirt and guitar picks! Never see a CD for sale, this will be a first. Many times they sell stuff up in the food areas that surround the Garden out in the lobbies, so maybe they will have the CD there too, near the beer! :)

What I should do is give Jimbo $10 for the CD and I can then relax at the seats with a frosty cold beer! :)

I don't see the studio getting added to anything other than perhaps a reissue of 13.

A double live CD from the tour should follow.

And I bet the CD is at least $15.

There are fans worldwide living nowhere NEAR where these shows are taking place. They better have some plan in place to release it commercially or at least sell it through a website for those who can't get to a show....

Going for an eye-popping $30 from what I've read online... and currently being flipped for significantly higher amounts on eBay.

I thought long and hard about paying $80 for one of these (that's what they were initially going for on ebay...in the $80 to $100 range). Even thought about asking if an IMWAN'er would pick one up for me (would happily pay a reasonable amount above the purchase price + shipping/handling). But the more I think about it the more I'm convinced it would be a waste of money. No way can I see Sharon Osbourne settling for offering these 4 studio tracks at concert sales and limiting their earning potential to just that. There is just too much money to be made with these four songs.

Now my current idea is when they release the $100 limited edition box set for the tour's live album, they will include a copy of this disc in that box set. That seems like the most logical way for them to commercially release these songs and soak the fans for as much money as they can.

Worst case scenario is they split up the four studio tracks and have one on the general live album release, one as an exclusive Best Buy bonus track, one as an exclusive Target bonus track and one as an exclusive iTunes (so not on a physical release) bonus track.

Yeah and the price will drop even more as the tour continues into the Summer (seeing them again in August here on Long Island).

$30 ?!?? For 4 songs tossed from the last album? What a gouge! Typical of the respect that Black Sabbath has shown to their fans over the years...anyone ever noticed that their initials are BS?

I just looked at the ebay completed listing section. Considering there is a Russian boot all over ebay; it really is amazing what these are actually selling for. (Amazon only shows how much sellers are asking; ebay has a section that shows what people actually paid)

When I bought it at the show, the guy behind me in line asked about it. Told him it was only being sold at the shows. He tried to buy ten copies on the spot, the vendor told him no more than 2 per customer.
